OK, look, I use to have a GoldWing before my Road Glide. Why did I get rid of the Wing, it basically removed me from the motorcycle experience. Don't get me wrong, the Wing is an awesome machine, it was just too smooth, felt like I was driving a car, and had gadgets to the yin yang.
Now my buddy, Mr. Mike, bought bluetooth headsets so he and his wife, who also rides, can communicate B2B during the trip. Ok, that makes sense, you may want to communicate that there's a hazard coming up to the rest of the group, you need a bathroom break, or tell me that my radio is too loud :p
Now the Road Glide comes with a standard CB radio. It even came with headsets and everything, but you would think that these bluetooth companies would at least allow you to use the stock CB with their wireless headsets. I know, I know, they have to make $$. I have to buy THIER headset so I can at least talk to my buddies. Why can't they at the very least, have an accessory that I can plug in to my CB so it can be paired with their headsets.
Am I going to buy one, reluctantly most likely, as I see the Sena device is not compatible with the Scala as well.
Am I losing some of the motorcycle experience, yeah I am, but at least I'll get to annoy Mr Mike during the entire two week trip, and that is going to be priceless :D
Ha..... Ha..... Lu! Turn down the radio~
ReplyDeleteNo actually I think I'm going to listen to music during the trip too..... So..... that isn't like me.... well.... I know.... if I'm riding around here.... I don't .... won't listen to music.... But, as you know this will be a very long trip.... so.... yeah... I'm gonna listen to music.
At the gym the time goes faster on the Elliptical listening to music.... so spending 10 hours a day on the road, for 4 days... I'm going to be listening to music.....
Annoying The Mr. Mike = priceless! Lol
